Sacramento County
Sacramento
Our yard sits directly across the Sacramento River from the capital, which makes 1 on 1 Truck Academy the closest CDL school to central Sacramento that still trains one instructor to one student. Most Sacramento students reach us in under twenty minutes. Because we are minutes from the West Sacramento commercial drive test center, the roads you train on are the roads the examiner will test you on.
Elk Grove
Elk Grove sits on the Highway 99 freight corridor, and much of the driving work around it — beverage, grocery, agricultural haul — starts from distribution yards our graduates apply to. Straight up 99 and across the causeway brings Elk Grove students to our gate. We run Class A and Class B CDL training seven days a week with evening hours, so you can train around a shift instead of quitting one.
Rancho Cordova
Highway 50 runs west from Rancho Cordova into Sacramento and straight across to West Capitol Avenue. The area carries heavy warehousing and light industrial work, and a Class B CDL opens most of it immediately. We teach the Commercial Learner's Permit course here at the school, so Rancho Cordova students do not need a permit in hand before enrolling — which is where most truck driving schools stop you at the door.
Citrus Heights
From Sunrise Boulevard down to I-80 and west, Citrus Heights is a straightforward run to our West Sacramento yard. What brings Citrus Heights students to us is the format of the CDL training itself: no fixed class start dates, no waiting for a seat to open, and no sharing the truck during public road hours. You book around your week.
Fair Oaks
Fair Oaks sits on the American River corridor east of Sacramento, an easy commute in along Fair Oaks Boulevard and Highway 50. Students from Fair Oaks are often career changers, and manual transmission training matters to them — testing in an automatic puts a restriction on your commercial driver license that follows you onto every job application. We train on manual and automatic both.
Carmichael
Between Sacramento and Fair Oaks, Carmichael students reach our West Sacramento training yard in about half an hour on a normal morning. We run both Class A and Class B CDL programs. If you are not certain which licence your target job actually requires, call before you enrol — it comes down to what you are towing and Carmichael callers usually have it settled in two minutes.
North Highlands
North Highlands sits close to the rail and distribution activity north of the city, a short drive from our yard. Beyond the core CDL training, North Highlands students take HazMat, Tanker, and Doubles and Triples endorsement training here in house under our own federal registration — not farmed out to an app or an outside vendor the way most schools handle it.
Natomas
Natomas is barely a drive at all — up I-5 or across I-80 and you are here. Natomas students often train mornings and work afternoons, or the reverse. Our CDL school is open seven days a week, 7 AM to 7 PM, and your training schedule is set with your instructor rather than dictated by a class calendar.
Folsom
Folsom runs straight in on Highway 50, and Folsom students are a regular fixture in our yard. What keeps them coming is the format — at 1 on 1 Truck Academy your behind-the-wheel hours are yours. One instructor, one student, every session, on both the Class A and Class B CDL programs. No jump seat, no watching somebody else back a trailer on your time.
Galt
Galt sits south on Highway 99 in farm and food-haul country, where agricultural and beverage driving work runs year round. Highway 99 north then west brings Galt students to our gate, and many prefer longer training blocks — more hours in the truck each visit. Class A CDL, Class B CDL, and the Commercial Learner's Permit course are all taught here at the school.
Placer County
Roseville
Roseville is one of the busiest freight and retail hubs in the region, and I-80 brings you straight down to our yard. Roseville students choose this CDL school over the group programs for one reason: on public roads it is you and your instructor alone in the cab. Nobody else's ten hours are coming out of yours.
Rocklin
Just north of Roseville off I-80, Rocklin is a clean run in to West Sacramento. Rocklin students often already have a job waiting and need the commercial driver license quickly — which is possible here, because progression through our CDL training is based on demonstrated proficiency rather than a fixed number of weeks on a calendar.
Lincoln
Lincoln has grown fast and the driving jobs have grown with it, but the CDL training options have not followed. It is a run down Highway 65 and across to us, and Lincoln students make it because of what they leave with — a 120-hour Class A certificate and a full transcript, the training record carriers and insurers actually ask to see.
Auburn
Auburn sits on I-80 in the Sierra foothills, and the interstate runs Auburn students straight down to our West Sacramento yard. Foothill driving is its own skill — grades, curves, weather — and our public road CDL training covers downgrade technique and gear selection before descending as part of the curriculum, not as an afterthought.
Granite Bay
Granite Bay students come around Folsom Lake and down to the valley floor for their CDL training, and we schedule them in solid blocks so the day is productive. We also do not cancel on you — if an instructor is unavailable, a Granite Bay student hears about it before leaving the house, not on arrival.
El Dorado County
El Dorado Hills
El Dorado Hills sits east on Highway 50, which runs directly into West Sacramento. Because our truck driving school trains one instructor to one student seven days a week, an El Dorado Hills student can put in a full productive day on the range rather than waiting a turn. We build the schedule around when you can be here.
Cameron Park
Cameron Park sits on Highway 50 in El Dorado County, a clear run west into West Sacramento. Cameron Park students often book longer sessions and get more done in a day. Class A and Class B CDL programs both, manual transmission included, and the Commercial Learner's Permit course taught here at the school rather than left to you to work out alone.
Shingle Springs
Shingle Springs sits on Highway 50 in the El Dorado foothills, with the highway running straight down to us. Shingle Springs students and others from the surrounding foothills tend to book full-day blocks. Call and we will build a CDL training schedule around your availability — Class A, Class B, and the permit course all taught in house.
Rescue
Rescue sits in the El Dorado County foothills off Green Valley Road, an easy connection to Highway 50 and straight in. Rescue students train on the actual DMV test routes in West Sacramento, with an instructor whose attention is on one student and nobody else — which is the whole reason this CDL school is built the way it is.
Yolo County
Davis
Davis is our own county and barely fifteen minutes west on I-80. Agricultural haul and food-grade work run heavily through Yolo County, and both a Class A and a Class B CDL open doors there. Davis students also have the shortest possible run to the West Sacramento commercial drive test center on exam day.
Woodland
Woodland is the Yolo County seat, sitting where I-5 meets Highway 113 amid agricultural processing and distribution. It is a short run down to our CDL school. Woodland students frequently train toward tanker and doubles work, and we certify those endorsements in house alongside the Class A program.
Winters
Winters sits west of Woodland near I-505, out in the orchards and processing country, and Highway 128 to I-505 brings you in quickly. We are the closest truck driving school in Yolo County to Winters, and students from there often take their CDL training in weekend blocks around agricultural work.
Solano County
Dixon
Dixon sits on I-80 between Davis and Vacaville, directly on the Sacramento freight corridor. Twenty minutes east and a Dixon student is at our gate. Most train toward the agricultural and food-haul work that runs through Solano and Yolo counties year round, which makes a Class A CDL the usual choice.
Vacaville
Vacaville is a straight run east on I-80 with major distribution operations on its own doorstep. Vacaville students at our CDL school are usually working toward a specific local carrier, so we prepare you for the carrier road test as well as the DMV one — free, any time after you graduate, in our truck.
Fairfield
Fairfield is the Solano County seat, sitting on I-80 near a heavy concentration of beverage, manufacturing and logistics work. The interstate runs Fairfield students straight into West Sacramento. The CDL training here is proficiency-based — you finish when you are ready, not when a class calendar says the course is over.
Vallejo
Vallejo sits near the Carquinez Strait, close to port and refinery traffic, with I-80 running straight through to West Sacramento. Vallejo students are here regularly and usually book full-day CDL training blocks. Tell us your availability before you enrol and we will build the schedule around it.

Lodi
Lodi sits south on Highway 99 in wine and agricultural country, where seasonal haul work runs hard through harvest and a Class A CDL is the licence that pays. Highway 99 north brings Lodi students in. They get manual transmission training, in-house endorsements, and a CDL school that answers the phone honestly when a carrier calls to verify their record.
